Mechanical Fitter – Assembly

The Role

Working as part of a team, you will be involved in & responsible for assembling machinery for the Truss & Frame industry in a timely & efficient manner.

The Successful applicant MUST possess the following attributes:

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting) or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years mechanical and assembly experience
  • High risk work license – Forklift
  • Overhead crane use/ experience
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings, assembly drawings & work instructions
  • Mechanical aptitude & problem-solving ability
  • Fit & able to perform physical and repetitive tasks
  • High Level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a safe & timely manner
  • Must be able to provide own tools of the trade

This is a very exciting and challenging position, which offers full time employment Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm with a 12noon finish on Fridays, located at our Stapylton production facility at the northern end of the Gold Coast.  Multinail has great career opportunities.
